In a Jar 3

Jar no. 00

Food is preserved in jars. The sticker in this jar reads "eat the rich". The question is, how can the starving in the world gain access to their fair portion of food? The message brings a quotation from Brecht's Threepenny Opera to mind, albeit with a shift of emphasis: „Grub first, then ethics!“ And in contrast to jar no. 15 the sticker is the donator's own.
Jar no. 15

A chance find by the wayside on the cycle path between the technology park and the comprehensive school in Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf.  The sticker „White Lives Matter“ was stuck to a lamp-post by one unknown person and then removed by another. A scrap of the torn-off sticker has remained on the street light, the larger fragment is now stuck to a crumpled (red!) dog waste bag. Were these stuck together deliberately or did wind or storm unite them? Whether the plastic bag was ever used to scoop up a dog's heap is not apparent and neither the finder nor myself have examined the matter more closely. Let us keep the lid tightly screwed on! The sticker has found its proper place.

Jar no. 17

The content of this jar was found by chance in the street on the day of the interactive exhibition. An unspectacular red bottle-top has been placed upside down in the jar. Any logo or writing is thus hidden from view, in addition it isn't possible to look through the glass bottom since the bottle-top rests on a piece of white paper. The jar bears the inscription "Look at things from the other side."
